Some make the move for the climate, the friendliness of the Panamanian people, and of course because it is home to one of the best retiree discount programs in the world.So it’s easy to see why Americans are choosing this country as their retirement haven. Well looking at that list, it’s no wonder I stay busy.For holidays, birthday, and any other significant event, it was only us. It seems they’re always at a cousin’s birthday party or a family get-together. Prior to moving to Panama, we were living in Columbus, Ohio. We started our family in Anchorage, Alaska, when I was stationed there while in the U. I spend most of my time working on my website, which is a site dedicated to helping people understand everything about Panama before they make the decision to move here. I write detailed reports and put together videos about each province, town, and neighborhood in Panama.
We’d just had twin boys, making it 4 kids total, and we wanted our kids to be surrounded by family and a warmer atmosphere. I tell you all about the cost of living, entertainment, utilities and infrastructure, medical care, and everything else you need to know.
The ability to travel easily from Panama to every other capital in Central and South America is another reason why we chose to relocate here.
